We separate price ranking, affiliate revenue and any paid exposure so users and merchants can understand how the service works.

Affiliate links
Some outbound merchant links can generate a commission for Botcom Oy if a purchase follows. This does not increase the user's price.
Search and price ranking
The main search factors are matches to the product name, brand, model, identifiers, category and recognised specifications. Exact model and specification matches carry more weight than general text matches. Product-versus-accessory intent can demote irrelevant results. The number of comparable merchants is a small secondary signal. Affiliate commission is not an organic search-ranking variable. Merchant offers on a product page are normally ordered by product price.
Paid visibility
If we sell sponsored placement or a campaign, it is separated from ordinary algorithmic comparison and clearly labelled as advertising or commercial cooperation.
Price-find quality control
Price finds use current comparable price data from multiple merchants. An internal algorithm checks whether one current price stands out sufficiently from other credible prices and filters unclear or implausible cases. The internal market gap or percentage is not presented as the merchant's own discount.
Free merchant feeds
Merchants may submit product feeds without a listing fee. Our goal is to apply the same data-quality and matching rules regardless of the technical or commercial source.
