Tunnollisena työmiehenä tunnettu Tapio Tomsten saa työnantajaltaan tekstiviestin kuin salaman kirkkaalta taivaalta: työsuhteesi on päättynyt. Uutta uraa etsiessään Tapio päätyy Över-kuskin, feissarin, ihmissuhdejohtajan ja erinäisten muiden toimien kautta teollisuustyöläiseksi monilla aloilla huseeraavaan A.C.M.E.-yhtiöön. Tapiolle aiheuttavat huolta myös karkaileva muistisairas isoisä ja lastenlapsia hartaasti odottava äiti. Sipilän hallituksen neronleimaukset, maailmalla jylläävä pandemia ja Ukrainassa riehuva sota lapioivat rattaisiin omat hiekkansa. Pentti Otsamon sarjakuvat tarkastelevat absurdia aikaamme surrealististen aurinkolasien läpi. Työmiehen päiväkirjaan on koottu Otsamon Teollisuusliiton Tekijä-lehdessä vuosina 2018-2022 ilmestyneet sarjakuvat. Tekijän kommentit kunkin sivun lareunassa palauttavat mieleen alkuperäisen julkaisuhetken uutistapahtumat.

The 30-day and all-time lows are ParhainHinta.fi observations for that merchant. They are not, by themselves, the merchant's statutory reference price for discount advertising.
